Ryloth

Overview

Ryloth is the homeworld of the Twi’lek species and a confirmed mission location in Star Wars Zero Company. A divided planet of stark terrain — one hemisphere in permanent daylight, the other in permanent night — Ryloth has a long history of occupation and resistance that makes it one of the Clone Wars’ most significant battlegrounds.

In Star Wars Canon

Ryloth features prominently in Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. The Battle of Ryloth arc (Season 1) depicts a Separatist occupation of the planet and a Republic liberation campaign involving Jedi General Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano, alongside Twi’lek resistance leader Cham Syndulla.

In Zero Company’s Clone Wars setting (~20 BBY), Ryloth remains a contested world with a politically active population. Its history of occupation — first by the Separatists, and later by the Empire — gives it a layered political character well-suited to the kind of shadow operations Zero Company undertakes.
