Kundri Fathom

Overview

Kundri Fathom is the leader of the Infinite Coil, a Separatist-aligned paramilitary cult and the primary antagonist faction of Star Wars Zero Company. EA’s official enemies hub introduces her with deliberate ambiguity:

Mystery and speculation surround Kundri Fathom, leader of the Infinite Coil. Some claim she wields the Force, while others insist she is a convincing charlatan. What is certain is that she is infected with the Shadow Plague and commands the unflinching loyalty of the Coil.

Two points are therefore settled by official material: she carries the Shadow Plague, and the Coil follows her without hesitation. Earlier press previews described her as “a cunning strategist with unmatched charisma” whose aim is to spread the plague across the galaxy.

Force Sensitivity

Whether Fathom genuinely wields the Force is left open on purpose. EA frames it as a live question within the setting: some believe she is a Force user, others regard her as a charlatan who has convinced her followers otherwise. Early hands-on previews described the Infinite Coil as a Dark Side cult, but EA’s own material does not make that claim, so this wiki treats her Force use as unresolved.

The Shadow Plague

Fathom is infected with the Shadow Plague, the disease carried by every member of the Coil, which is rumoured to grant unnatural resilience and deadly abilities. Republic Intelligence reports describe the super tactical droid Typhon as fixated on both the plague and “the woman who embodies it”, placing Fathom at the centre of the Coil’s spread rather than merely at its head.

Antagonist Role

Fathom leads the Coil’s campaign to spread the Shadow Plague and is the primary strategic and ideological threat in the game. Her lieutenant Visser leads the cult into battle in the field, while Typhon supplies Separatist tactical expertise.

The Infinite Coil is a previously unseen enemy faction in the Star Wars universe, created for Zero Company.
