Cly Kullervo

Overview

The infamous Cly Kullervo is one of the last surviving members of the ancient Clan Verminoth. She joins Zero Company because she sees it as the most direct route to completing a very personal vendetta.

Cly wears traditional Mandalorian armour and carries dual blasters and thermal detonators.

Class

Cly uses the Mandalorian exotic class, unique to her. This class includes a jetpack ability as a persistent unique skill, one of the story character-specific abilities that cannot be unequipped regardless of class choice.

EA names that jetpack ability as her unique talent, Combat Jump: she jumps to a target location, pushing enemies out of position and inflicting Burn, with upgrades increasing the range and the Burning stacks applied. See Classes for the full authored talent list, and Talents for the rank values.

Permadeath

Cly is subject to the game’s permadeath mechanic. Despite being a named story character, her death is permanent.

Recruitment and Hero Missions

Cly is an optional recruit, and recruiting her changes the campaign rather than just the roster. She carries two Hero Missions, both contracts on her marks, and both are reclassified as critical missions once she joins. Without her they stay optional. Recruiting her therefore lengthens the critical path; see Missions.

Best Served Cold targets Idra Farrar, a successful businessman. Without Honor or Humanity targets Kervis Akali, a Coil-aligned Mandalorian. Both sit on a single Cycle window, the shortest in the game and the same as a Crisis Mission’s, so neither can be left for later once it appears.

Companion Operation

Cly brings one Companion Operation, the fewest of the six Operators who have any: Bounty Business, a bounty broadcast for the Snivvian Undarmo Gog. It costs 50 Intel and stays on the HoloTable for two Cycles.
