Soldier
Overview
The Soldier is one of the eight standard classes (called Specializations in game) available to any operator in Star Wars Zero Company. EA describes it as:
The Soldier is a mainstay offensive unit, capable of engaging enemies at close to medium-range with melee, grenades, heavy blaster fire, and a powerful rocket launcher.
Trick is the confirmed Soldier among the story characters.

| Rocket Strike | Ultimate | Unknown | 10 Advantage | Fire a powerful rocket that explodes on impact, damaging all targets in the blast. 28 base damage across a 4.0m area of effect, once per combat, rising to 34 damage and applying Vulnerable at its top rank |
| Brutal Strike | Standard | Melee Action | 1 AP | Rush and strike a target, dealing Melee Damage and Dazing. 12 base damage, once per turn, rising to 18 damage and a Stun at its top rank. An in-combat card at rank IV was listed at 16 damage |
| Strength | Passive | Always active | None | Increases Melee Damage by +2 and increases the throw range of all Grenades by +2.0m |
| Armsmaster | Passive | Always active | None | Increases Blaster Damage and Grenade Damage by +2 |
Rocket Strike
The Ultimate fires a powerful rocket that explodes on impact, damaging all targets in the blast.

Brutal Strike
Rushes and strikes a target, dealing Melee Damage and applying Dazed. It occupies the Standard slot and its combat card carries a Melee Action label; slot and action type are separate axes, described on Combat System.
Shown at Brutal Strike IV: 1 AP for 16 damage, once per turn.
Strength
Increases Melee Damage by +2 and the throw range of all Grenades by +2.0m.
Armsmaster
Increases Blaster Damage and Grenade Damage by +2.
Confirmed interactions
- Strength and Armsmaster are both unconditional, and both affect grenades: Strength the throw range, Armsmaster the damage
- Trick carries a Repeater and fires Fire Repeating Blaster, a Final Action consuming all remaining AP for Blaster Damage plus Rapid Fire Damage scaled to the AP spent, listed at 22 damage for 3 AP. This is a weapon attack rather than a class ability, so any operator carrying a Repeater has access to it; see Weapons
- Dazed is applied only by Brutal Strike among confirmed abilities; see the statuses table

PC Gamer’s March 2026 hands-on described a rocket launcher blast ultimate, attributed to the Heavy. Rocket Strike is the Soldier’s Ultimate; the Heavy’s is Bulwark.
