Overview

The Gunslinger is one of the eight standard classes (called Specializations in game) available to any operator in Star Wars Zero Company. EA describes it as:

The Gunslinger specializes in multi-target blaster attacks and fast strikes that allow them to spread offense across numerous targets.

Open Fire

The Ultimate fires 2 times at any combination of enemies.

Shown in combat at an upgraded rank as Open Fire II: a Chained Ranged Special Action costing 7 Advantage for 17 damage, with each attack gaining a +10% bonus to Chance-to-Hit. Chained Ranged is the targeting mode that allows the shots to be split across enemies. The shot count at rank II is not stated on the card.

Quick Draw

Fires a sidearm pistol shot, described as lightning fast. The sidearm is distinct from the operator’s primary blaster.

Keen Eye

Increases this operator’s Critical Chance for all Ranged Attacks by +6%.

Onslaught

Each attack within a single turn grants this operator +1 Blaster Damage. The card states the bonus applies only to attacks with this Operator’s primary blaster.

Confirmed interactions

  • The Medic’s Combat Stim grants Stimulant, increasing Ranged Damage for 2 turns; EA cites Medic and Gunslinger as a confirmed pairing
  • Bit Reactor’s community Q&A cites a Gunslinger build that gains action points on a kill, chaining into extended turns
  • Weapon class is chosen independently of Specialization, so the primary blaster Onslaught applies to can be any of the four types; see Weapons

Earlier preview attribution

PC Gamer’s March 2026 hands-on described a triple shot ultimate paid from the shared Advantage pool, attributed to the Assault. Open Fire is the multi-shot ultimate and belongs to the Gunslinger.
