Kabb Uppercut
Overview
Kabbney “Kabb” Uppercut is a story character and confirmed squad member in Star Wars Zero Company. He belongs to the Felshi — a species created specifically for this game, making Kabb the first Felshi character in Star Wars canon. A veteran crook and former prizefighter, Kabb is known for his cybernetic arm, his namesake Uppercut ability, and a distinctive rhyming dialect.
Background
Before Zero Company, Kabb was a prizefighter competing for prize money. He is described by EA as a “veteran crook and former prizefighter.” His cybernetic arm is a distinctive visual feature present throughout the gameplay trailers. EA describes the Uppercut as his “namesake knockout punch,” suggesting the move defined his fighting reputation and gave him his name.
He is seen in the SGF 2026 gameplay trailer as part of the opening mission squad alongside Hawks, Trick, and Jae Mordant. He is also seen in preview footage fighting in the docks of Courtsilius.
Gameplay
Kabb’s confirmed abilities from gameplay previews:
- Uppercut — knocks enemies out of cover; can be used to push enemies into a squadmate’s Overwatch zone. Confirmed in the EA gameplay overview alongside Tel-Rea’s Force Push as a combo tool.
- Bull Rush — charges a target directly. Confirmed in the SGF 2026 trailer breakdown.
His combat role appears to be close-range melee and disruption, using his physical build to reposition enemies in ways that open them up for follow-up attacks from the rest of the squad.
Narrative Weight
As a story character, Kabb is subject to permadeath. Three injuries in the field result in permanent death, and if he dies his narrative thread closes for the rest of the campaign. See Permadeath for full mechanics.
