Patch Notes & Game Updates
Overview
Every update to Star Wars Zero Company confirmed by an official source or observed in the game, newest first.
This page also serves a second purpose. Much of the wiki publishes exact figures: weapon damage, ability ranks, the Advantage cap, the Cycle at which dual Specializations unlock. Those numbers are true of a particular build, and a live game changes them. Pages carrying figures state which build they were checked against and link back here, so a reader can tell at a glance whether a number predates the most recent update.
Update History
Version 1.1
PC · PlayStation 5 · Xbox Series X|S
The first post-launch patch, announced on 3 Sep 2026 and shipped on the EA app, Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox and PlayStation. Almost entirely bug fixes: no ability, weapon or economy figures were rebalanced, but several fixes make the game behave as its numbers already claimed.
- Chance-to-Hit: Fixed shots missing even when the chance to hit was 100%. This was EA's acknowledged launch bug, and it is the fix most likely to change how combat reads in practice.
- Scatterguns: Fixed Tier 2 to Tier 4 Scatterguns using Tier 1 values.
- Tel-Rea: Force attacks displayed incorrect damage in the UI when bonuses applied, applied the Ranged Damage Cross Training bonus twice rather than once, and did not add Critical Damage bonuses. All three fixed.
- Weapons: The DC-17m Anti-Armor shot could not score Critical Hits or take grenade damage bonuses; Ion Blasters doubled their Critical Damage. Both fixed, along with targeting control for Rocket Strike and the DC-17m Anti-Armor.
- Overwatch: Fixed enemies firing through solid objects at Operators they could not see, triggering on units outside the targeting cone, and several cases of unintended attacks. A turn-ordering fix stops the Coil Captain healing a target already killed by Overwatch.
- Abilities: Droid Dismantler granted Harmony on every enemy death rather than only Droid deaths; Sweeping Salvo hit enemies outside its cone; the Immovable status applied without giving its bonuses. All fixed.
- Talents: Fixed the second tier of A Life of Labor accumulating its bonus without limit when purchased repeatedly.
- Specializations: Secondary Specializations now add their passive Cross Trainings to the selection pool at Relationship level +8, and count correctly when Operations test Specialization requirements.
- Base: Fixed the Bacta Tank being usable more than once in a Cycle.
- Saves: Fixed Beskar saves being temporarily deleted, a Beskar mode crash, save corruption on forced shutdown, Databank corruption while saving or editing characters, and missing pre-order and Deluxe Edition items.
- Performance: Various crashes and visual stutters fixed, and the minimum suggested Nvidia and AMD drivers updated to current game-ready versions.

Known Issues
Patch 1.1 fixed the Chance-to-Hit bug, in which a displayed 100% chance was recalculated lower when the shot was taken. It also fixed various crashes and updated the minimum suggested Nvidia and AMD drivers to current game-ready versions.
The hardware-specific crash guidance below predates the patch and EA has not withdrawn it, so it is kept here for anyone still affected. The pinned post from the EA Star Wars account on the game’s Steam discussion board reads:
Thank you all for the amazing response to our game and the support, we are aware of these emerging issues (crashes and CPU threading) and are working on implementing fixes. We’ll let you know when we’re able to provide an update.
Two specific hardware causes are named, each with a workaround.
NVIDIA GPUs
Crashes while using DLSS on Game Ready Driver 610.88 or older. EA advises updating to the latest Game Ready Driver, through the NVIDIA App or from NVIDIA’s website.
Intel processors
Some Intel Core 13th and 14th Gen desktop processors can suffer instability that causes crashes. EA advises updating the system BIOS to the latest version, following the instructions from the system or motherboard manufacturer.
As an alternative to a BIOS update, EA points to the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and lowering the Performance Core Ratio from 55x to 54x, 53x, or 52x.
These are the causes EA has named. Crashes with other causes are not covered by either workaround, and the underlying fixes are still to come.
Patch 1.1
The first post-launch patch shipped on 9 September 2026, thirteen days after launch and six days after EA’s community team announced it. Full notes are on EA’s news site ; the summary above lists the changes that affect what this wiki documents.
It is almost entirely bug fixes. Nothing was rebalanced: no ability rank, weapon figure, cost or cap changed value. Several fixes instead make the game behave the way its numbers already claimed, which is why the figures on this wiki are unaffected by it.
Three are worth calling out:
- Chance-to-Hit now behaves as displayed. A 100% shot no longer misses.
- Tier 2 to Tier 4 Scatterguns were using Tier 1 values, so those weapons performed below their stated figures rather than at them.
- The Bacta Tank could be used more than once in a Cycle. The intended limit is once, and it is now enforced. See Base Management.
Note for PC players
EA added guidance for NVIDIA GTX 10-series and RTX 20-series cards that meet the minimum specification: setting Environment Geometry Detail to Off under Options then Graphics lowers geometry processing overhead and can improve framerates on those architectures.
